The Infrared and Raman Discussion Group (IRDG) was formed in 1950 and
is one of the oldest specialist subject groups in the UK. The IRDG normally holds three
meetings a year at various centres around the country.
Membership is open to all who are interested in vibrational
spectroscopy, particularly infrared and Raman spectroscopies. The 4-year membership fee is
£15, with a special rate for students, the unemployed and retired of £4. Members receive
full details of the meetings.
Please complete the lower half of this form and return it with your
subscription to the Membership Secretary at the address given below. The IRDG is also
looking into whether e-mail will provide a more convenient method of communication. If you
are happy to be contacted by e-mail please include your e-mail address below. Your name
and address will be entered in the Group Membership List.
